Welcome to the First Edition of the Animal Heroes Run; a non-competitive race for you and your dog (you can also participate without dog). In war zones animals are often forgotten. They too are victims of war, living beings that depend on us for their survival.
Animal Heroes exists to provide food, medical care and other emergency aid to animals affected by wars and natural disasters. Participate with (or without) your dog in the Animal Heroes Run and give a paw to dogs living in war zones.

The registration fee, non-refundable under any circumstances, includes:
- Bib number
- medal
- gadget
- medical and veterinary assistance
- refreshments along the route
- refreshment at the finish

You can register in advance online or on the day of the race until 08:45 am if there are still places available. The price of registration on the day itself will be 3 euros extra of the prices listed above.

How do I know that the money you
you collect really goes to help animals in war zones?
We go personally to learn about our projects, because this is the only way to ensure that emergency aid gets where it needs to go. Plus we keep you up to date with photos and videos of the animals helped thanks to you.
Our team consists entirely of volunteers, we do not receive any financial compensation and we cut unnecessary costs by, for example, working from home. The only expenses we have are our website costs, bank fees and travel expenses, which are often sponsored and are always kept to a minimum.
How much of my subscription fee
is donated to Animal Heroes?
100% of the amount is donated to Animal Heroes.
Thanks to donations, in 2023 we have helped 14,346 animals in Ukraine, Cisgiornadia, Italy, Turkey and Rhodes.
