Dobbiaco is situated at the entrance to the romantically wild Val di Landro. The town is famous for its cultural highlights, in particular the Gustav Mahler Music Weeks. In the winter the Tour de Ski comes to Dobbiaco. The town is also venue for other cross country skiing competitions.
Dobbiaco and the 3 Zinnen Dolomites valley are renowned in particular for their Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage status, but they are also a top holiday region for families. The magnificent world of the forest in Dobbiaco invites kids to play, climb, jump and to learn through interactive play. The central element is a wooden platform. Strands of root radiate into the surrounding environment, with trees for climbing, isolated “woodpecker tree”, otter slide, bare-foot circuit, birds nest, high jump facility and more.
